The Arbikie Highland Estate on Scotland's east coast is family-owned and home to the Stirling brothers' Farms, Distillery & Distillery Experience. Arbikie is one of the world's most sustainable distilleries & soon to be the world's first green hydrogen-powered distillery. They uniquely grow, distil, mature & bottle their family of luxury spirits, and also welcome guests to their Distillery Experience so they can learn, taste & enjoy their single-estate approach, as well as stay on-site in their OOD Mirror Houses.

Directions from Aberdeen - less than an hour by train, Dundee - 40 Minutes from V&A Dundee and you can travel from Edinburgh and Glasgow in two hours.

Opening Times:

• Wednesday-Sunday: 10am - 5:30pm

Breakfast served: 10am -11:30am and lunch served: 12pm -3pm (12pm - 4pm on Saturdays). Cocktails, coffee, and cakes served all day.

Dogs are welcome around the outside areas of our distillery as long as they are kept on a lead as we are a working distillery situated in the middle of a working farm. Guide, hearing and other registered assistance dogs are welcome on tours. Non assistance dogs are welcome on site but not in the building.

Highland Rye is the world’s first Rye Scotch Whisky. Grown, distilled, matured and bottled right here on Arbikie Highland Estate, land we have been farming for four generations.

Join us as we take you on a tour from field to bottle starting with our crops in the field. Then moving onwards to see our award-winning distillers and copper stills carry out their magic creating spirit(s) perfect for any cocktail.

Afterwards, overlooking Lunan Bay Beach, it’s time to get creative with one of our ambassadors by creating two cocktails, hopefully finding your perfect serve to enjoy while relaxing in the bar.

COCKTAIL & NIBBLES £30

At the heart of every cocktail is a beautiful spirit. Take a journey to the Arbikie Highland Estate and learn how humble crops can become the perfect serve.

Join us as we take you on a cocktail making journey, using our field to bottle spirits crafted right here on our farm.  Come and get creative with one of our ambassadors by creating our two cocktails of the month, concocted by our own in-house bartender.

Afterwards, enjoy your delicious cocktails alongside a tasty charcuterie selection designed to be shared between two while overlooking Lunan Bay Beach.

GIN AND VODKA TOUR £20

Arbikie Highland Estate is a true field to bottle operation where we perfectly nurture the crops that we use to distil our gin and vodka. On this tour you will learn how we create our base spirits from the crops we grow, including potatoes, wheat, rye and peas.

Get hands on with key ingredients and botanicals; before visiting our copper stills where our skilled distillers create Arbikie’s family of white spirits.

Finally, join one of our ambassadors overlooking Lunan Bay and enjoy a tutored tasting of three spirits of your choice from Arbikie's award winning range. We currently produce 5 vodkas, and 3 gins, including Nàdar - the world’s first climate positive gin & vodka made from a pea-based spirit. 'All of the Taste None of the Impact.'
