Blair Athol Distillery

Blair Atholl Distillery is located in Pitlochry, Perthshire, at the southern edge of the Highlands. Set beneath surrounding moorland and fed by the Allt Dour burn, it is one of Scotland’s most scenic and traditional working distilleries, producing smooth Highland-style whisky with a long-established heritage

An ancient Highland malt. Known as one of the most scenic regions in Scotland, this land of rugged peaks and heather covered moorland is geographically the largest of the whisky-producing regions. Blair Athol whisky holds its own against the region’s warm, rounded single malt whiskies.

About Blair Athol Distillery

Blair Atholl is one of the older Highland distilleries and remains closely tied to its natural water source, the Allt Dour burn, which flows through the grounds and contributes to its soft, rounded whisky style.

The distillery is traditionally associated with blending, but its single malt offers a warm Highland profile shaped by long-standing production methods and its moorland environment near Ben Vrackie.
