The Scotch Whisky Experience is a five star visitor attraction at the top of Edinburgh's Royal Mile, where they have been inspiring visitors to Edinburgh about the joys of Scotch whisky for over 30 years. Covering all aspects of Scotch whisky, visitors gain an insight into the centuries-old science of production, the art and craft of blending, and how such a small country has created a world-famous product. A breathtaking view of Scotland’s five whisky regions brings the geography and landscapes to life.

Each month, our expert team selects a series of standout drams, tied together by a unique theme, bringing fresh stories and flavours to every visit.

After your tour, take a seat in our McIntyre Gallery Bar where our guide will share the rich tales and craftsmanship behind each dram. We’ll even match a dark chocolate from local Edinburgh chocolatier, Quirky Chocolate, to one of the whiskies, creating a memorable harmony of flavour.
