This month's Perfect Serve comes from Speyburn Distillery. The Boulevardier is a whisky take on a classic Negroni - something a little bit special! In fact the word boulevardier actually means 'fancy man about town'.
Speyburn 15-Year-Old is a fantastic whisky to use with this cocktail, at 46% it offers a kick and the alcohol content helps to carry the delicious flavours in the drink.
Try infusing your Vermouth with spices such as cardamon, cinnamon, ginger, lemongrass and tarragon. This helps make the drink even more rich and perfect to enjoy in the colder months.
Ingredients
- 30ml Speyburn 15-Year-Old
- 30ml Campari
- 30ml Vermouth
- Orange peel to garnish
Method
- Ice a mixing glass all the way to the top.
- Pour the three components on top, we suggest 30ml of each but you can adapt this to your taste.
- Stir to mix.
- Ice glass and pour straight over.
- Garnish with orange peel.
