January's Perfect Serve - Chivas Regal 18 Old Fashioned

The Perfect Serve will titillate your tastebuds with a delicious whisky cocktail featured every month...

A perfect winter warmer cocktail. The combination of the Chivas Regal 18 dried fruit and dark chocolate flavours, with the sweet brown sugar, chocolate bitters, and fresh citrus from the orange peel, create a balanced and very easy drinking cocktail. One to be enjoyed throughout this festive season.

Chivas Regal 18 Old Fashioned

Ingredients:

• 50ml Chivas Regal 18
• 25ml Brown Sugar Syrup
• 4 dashes Chocolate Bitters
• Orange Peel to garnish

Method:

• Combine all ingredients in a mixing jug
• Add ice into jug
• Stir until the sharp alcohol taste has gone (or to taste)
• Fill a rocks glass with cubed ice (or one big ice cube)
• Strain cocktail mixture into rocks glass
• To serve, garnish with the orange peel
