Malt Of The Month June 2024 - Tullibardine 18 Year Old

Distilled in 2005, Tullibardine's 18-Year-Old is the latest addition to the distillery's core range of single malts. The whisky has been matured in a combination of first-fill bourbon and sherry casks.

The cartons are illustrated by Scottish artist Bryan Angus and depict scenes and features of the distillery itself, making them a lovely gift for any whisky lover.

Tasting Notes:

The exceptional taste profile reveals warm spices and delicate aromas of dried fruit, caramel and vanilla, and reflects the outstanding quality and craftsmanship of Tullibardine's whiskies.

• Nose: Characteristic Tullibardine bourbon notes of vanilla, caramel, cream soda, sweet nectar, and oak intertwine with layers of dried fruit and warming spice.
• Palate: Balancing the indulgent nose, there’s more spices to be found of nutmeg, cinnamon and candied ginger cushioned with a hint of brown sugar.
• Finish: Spice on the palate mellows, the finish is smooth and buttery.
