Malt Of The Month November 2025 - anCnoc 12 Year Old

Crafted since 1894 at Knockdhu Distillery in the village of Knock, Aberdeenshire, anCnoc takes its name from Knock Hill (Gaelic for 'the hill') which overlooks the distillery.

Proudly standing for traditional, artisanal whisky-making, anCnoc continues to produce its Highland Single Malt with minimal automation, relying instead on the skill and craftsmanship of its distillers. This hands-on approach reflects the belief that true whisky should always be made with care and precision.

The anCnoc 12 Year Old is matured in American oak ex-bourbon casks for 12 years, resulting in a whisky with a long-lasting, sweet and smooth finish. On the nose, it offers notes of creamy vanilla, citrus fruits and sweet honey, while the palate reveals delicate spice, crisp green apples and a touch of lemon - a classic expression of Highland character and craftsmanship.
