Ed Sheeran’s The Hills of Aberfeldy has inspired the creation of a namesake cocktail by Aberfeldy Distillery. The delicious cocktail is a twist on a classic highball and will delight anyone who longs for the smell of heather as a wonderful reminder of home, or in Ed's case somewhere very close to his heart.
Mixing Aberfeldy 12 Year Old Single Malt with Bénédictine, lemon juice and ginger ale, this drink is easy to drink with a little spice. Follow the instructions below, to create this malty masterpiece at home...
Ingredients
- 25ml Aberfeldy 12 Year Old Single Malt
- 10ml Don Bénédictine
- Squeeze a wedge of lemon
- Top off with ginger ale
- Garnish with heather
Add whisky, Bénédictine and a squeeze of a Lemon wedge to an ice-filled highball glass, then top with Ginger Ale
