The Glen Grant Distillery

Glen Grant Distillery is located in Rothes, Speyside, and is renowned for producing a light, elegant single malt whisky with a long-standing reputation for craftsmanship and innovation. Founded in the 19th century, the distillery combines traditional whisky-making with one of Scotland’s most celebrated distillery gardens.

About Glen Grant Distillery

Founded in 1840 by brothers John and James Grant, Glen Grant quickly established itself as one of Speyside’s most respected whisky producers. The distillery became known for its tall, slender stills and purifying devices, which help create its distinctive light and refined spirit style.

Today, Glen Grant continues to produce a classic Speyside single malt recognised for fresh fruit notes, floral character, and smoothness. The distillery’s Victorian-era gardens, created by Major James Grant, remain a key part of the visitor experience.
