Glencadam Distillery has been distilling its renowned Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky in the same fashion for over two hundred years.


Established in 1825, Glencadam Distillery is located in the historic Royal Burgh of Brechin, nestled in the picturesque Eastern Highlands of Scotland. Little has changed over the past two hundred years, with Glencadam Single Malt Scotch Whisky still being handcrafted in the same style as it has always been.

Opened in 2025 to mark the 200th anniversary of the distillery, visitors to Glencadam Distillery Visitor Centre will experience immersive tours and tutored tastings, learn about our centuries-old production methods and the resilient spirit that has sustained Glencadam for over 200 years. Drams are served in our whisky lounge and guests can enjoy coffee, cakes and light bites in our distillery café. Exclusive hand-bottlings, the full Glencadam range and branded merchandise can be purchased in our gift shop.

Delve into Glencadam’s rich heritage in our new visitor centre, witnessing the events and meeting some of the exciting characters that have shaped Glencadam’s history.

Guests will tour the production site and visit a historic dunnage warehouse, then experience a guided tasting of three award-winning Glencadam Single Malts.
