Our Malt of the Month is The Arbikie Signature Single Malt Whisky, the distillery's inaugural 10-Year-Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky. Representing a defining milestone for the Stirling family and the Arbikie team, it showcases a decade of patience, provenance and precision. Every bottle reflects its coastal home while embodying the innovation and sustainability that have established Arbikie as one of the world's most sustainable distilleries

Matured exclusively in carefully selected ex-bourbon casks, The Arbikie Signature Single Malt is a beautifully balanced whisky with richness, depth and refined oak influence. Crafted from Odyssey barley grown in the estate's MB01 'Blue Bear' field and sown and harvested in 2015, this inaugural release is a true expression of Arbikie's authentic field-to-bottle philosophy.

The distillery has become internationally recognised for its pioneering work in sustainable distilling, from estate-grown ingredients to industry-leading environmental initiatives. The Arbikie Signature Single Malt Whisky

Tasting Notes

• Appearance: Bright golden amber.
• Nose: Interplaying oak derived compounds rise from the glass. The bourbon cask imparts a stone-fruit profile, expressed through ripe peach and banana-bread sweetness. These notes sit on top of citrus volatiles like lemon sherbet. A clean cereal character anchors the nose.
• Palate: The flavour is layered with notes of brioche. Zest introduces controlled acidity and brightness. Finally, apricot marmalade adds depth stemming from long fermentations. A gentle saltiness gives definition.
• Finish: Vanilla and sweet lactones leave a creamy coconut undertone that mixes with floral orange blossom aromatics and vibrant spice with minerality and lingering maltiness.
