The Scotch Whisky Experience's Star & Cask Whisky Sour is a rich, aromatic twist on a classic, blending sherry cask whisky with warm cinnamon, star anise and a touch of sherry for depth. The addition of orange bitters and a clove-studded orange peel garnish, it’s a beautifully spiced winter cocktail with a festive, fragrant kick.

Star & Cask Whisky Sour

Ingredients:

• 35ml sherry cask whisky
• 15ml sherry
• 25ml cinnamon & star anise
• Infused sugar syrup
• 2 dashes of orange bitters
• 25ml lemon juice
• 25ml egg white
• Garnished with orange peel that has been pierced with cloves

Method:

• Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake well.
• Pour over fresh ice into a short glass.
• Garnish with orange peel pierced with cloves.
