About Aberturret Estate House

The Aberturret Estate House dates back to the 19th century and has strong connections to the Murray Clan, whose history is closely linked with The Glenturret Distillery.

The house has been thoughtfully restored to create a luxurious but welcoming Scottish retreat, with its original character complemented by contemporary design and carefully chosen Scottish furnishings. Six ensuite bedrooms provide accommodation for up to 12 guests, comprising four king-size and two double bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own ensuite bathroom with a rainfall shower.

Throughout the house, Scottish craftsmanship and design feature prominently. Interiors incorporate Bute fabrics, historic Harris Tweeds, contemporary Scottish ceramics, bespoke furniture and artwork by Scottish artists.

Guests can relax beside the wood-burning stove, gather in the spacious lounge, enjoy the formal dining room or make use of the stylish cocktail bar. The fully equipped country-style kitchen also features a traditional Aga, making the house particularly suited to relaxed group stays and self-catering.
