About The Glenturret Lalique Restaurant

Opened in 2021, The Glenturret Lalique Restaurant was created to bring together fine dining, Scottish hospitality and the heritage of The Glenturret Distillery. The restaurant received its first Michelin Star just seven months after opening and was awarded a second Michelin Star in 2024. It has continued to hold two Michelin Stars, establishing itself as an important destination for Scottish gastronomy.

Executive Chef Mark Donald’s menus celebrate the quality of Scottish produce, with dishes inspired by the landscape and the seasons. Ingredients are sourced from Scotland’s exceptional network of growers, producers, fishers and breeders, with the distillery itself providing inspiration throughout the dining experience.

The restaurant seats just 26 guests, creating an intimate atmosphere in which the food, service and surroundings can take centre stage.

Tasting Menu

The signature tasting menu offers a journey through Mark Donald’s contemporary Scottish cuisine, with dishes changing throughout the seasons. The menu takes inspiration from The Glenturret and its surroundings, with Scottish ingredients and flavours combined with modern culinary techniques. Whisky and the distillery’s heritage also feature as subtle influences throughout the experience. A paired wine menu is available, curated by Head Sommelier Margaux Houghton and the restaurant team.

Under the guidance of Head Sommelier Margaux Houghton and her expert team, The Glenturret Lalique Bar offers an exceptional experience defined by craftsmanship, precision, and refined hospitality.

For a complete luxury experience, The Glenturret offers a Gastronomic Overnight Stay combining dinner at the two Michelin-starred restaurant with accommodation at The Aberturret Estate House. The historic 19th-century Dower house sits within the estate overlooking the River Turret and offers six bedrooms, accommodating up to 12 guests.

The package provides an opportunity to enjoy the tasting menu before retiring to the estate for the evening, followed by breakfast the next morning.
