Hello whisky lovers, and welcome to our November edition of Distillery and Whisky News.
And just like that it's November. It may be a little darker and a little colder but it is still a perfect time to explore more of our beautiful Whisky Country!

Distillery Of The Month: Scapa
The legendary Scapa distillery is situated on the shore of Scapa Flow, a natural harbour and one of Britain’s most historic stretches of water.
A thousand years of shifting skies and rich stories has made this windswept archipelago off the northeast coast of Scotland a beautiful but wild and untameable place of dramatic contrast. A befitting home for such a unique single malt.
Enjoy tastings in the ‘Scapa Noust’ - a distinctive clifftop location overlooking the natural harbour of the Scapa Flow and featuring spectacular sweeping views of the dramatic Orcadian landscape, the Scapa Noust offers an unparalleled experience to taste whisky. Welcoming Single Malt fans and adventurers alike, the tasting room will offer uniquely immersive experiences for those looking to taste exceptional whisky in a spectacular destination.
With touch points throughout reminiscent of the maritime heritage of the destination, the namesake harks back to the island's traditional boat shelters, ‘Noust’, the Orcadian term for a safe haven for boats.
After a tour of the working distillery and warehouse, up to twelve guests can enjoy tastings of Scapa Single Malt whisky around a central hand-carved long table featuring ripples inspired by the sea, whilst seated under a statement ceiling, crafted in the style of a traditional fishing boat’s interior.
